Sumpter Parent Club Agenda and Opportunities to get involved

Welcome back and hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with their families. A reminder we have a Parent Club meeting at 6:45 pm on Tuesday, January 15th. Please join us!!!

 

Also we are planning for our big end of the year community fundraiser event.  We need volunteers to make this a success. We are going to have a few different meetings next Tuesday, January 15th to help accommodate parents schedules. Ms. Prats and Jennifer Koenig,Vice-President of the Parent Club will have a volunteer meeting at 9:40 am in the school by the trophy case and again at 3:00 pm for those that want to volunteer, but an evening meeting does not fit their schedules. They, with myself will also host a volunteer meeting at 6:00 pm before our evening meeting to discuss the fundraiser event.

 Two volunteer opportunities with a little more detail:

 

1)We are looking for 3-4 individuals to help with/and or chair; food committee, Raffle basket(gathering/displaying) committee, Business Donation committee to solicit donations from businesses and other organizations,Ticket sales(before and during event) and finance(counting) committee. We are also having a dance and the DJ and his equipment have been donated.  

 

2)The school counselor, Kim Siegrist has arranged for the kids to have a NED(Never give up, Encourage others, Do your best) Assembly for February 15th. We are going to need two-three volunteers from 3:45-4:15 pm to sell NED merchandise on Feb.15,19,20,21,22nd.

FYI:T-shirts and Sweatshirts will be hand delivered to the children on January 19th
