You may have received questions regarding a mailing that the City sent out this week on the Planning Commission Public Hearing for Code Amendment 10-04, the proposed changes to our codes related to wireless communication facilities. The hearing is scheduled for 5:30 pm on February 26, 2013. The code amendment documents to be presented to the Planning Commission, community forum dates, additional information on the public hearing, and other resources are available online on our webpage at

Please note that state law required the City to mail notice to all property owners because the proposed code amendment would make changes in all zoning districts that could affect where cell towers and antennas and equipment can be located. Because the mailing was delivered throughout the City yesterday, we are receiving a high volume of calls and many callers are being directed to voicemail. We are making every effort to respond as quickly as possible and resolve issues with the phone calls.
